Merging Science into the Common Core
Tuesday, January 29 2013, 9:00AM–12:00PM
With new ELA Common Core Standards unveiled and the Conceptual Framework for Science Education released, now is the time to explore science and English language arts in the elementary classroom. A combined team of experienced classroom teachers and Museum staff will engage you in strategies of scientific inquiry that support both the ELA Common Core Standards and necessary practices of science as outlined in the Conceptual Framework. Please join us as we demonstrate and share strategies and practices that you can take back to your elementary classroom.
